E.ON BUILDS 6 MW BATTERY STORAGE FACILITY NEAR BUDAPEST

 

E.ON is building a HUF 785m battery storage facility in Soroksar, on the outskirts of the capital, the utilities company said. Some 338 million forints of funding from the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) is supporting the 6 MW facility that can store the electricity generated by around 350 homes with solar panels. The facility will be completed by November 2025.
