The third All-Hungarian Secondary School Students Camp has opened in Sátoraljaújhely, in the north-east of the country. Csongor Csáky, who heads the Rákóczi Association, said around 700 students are participating at the camp from other countries in the Carpathian Basin as well as Australia, the United States, Canada, France, Germany and Spain. He added that 35 summer programmes organised by the Rákóczi Association have attracted 15,000 Hungarian youths in 32 countries. He noted that the campers have come to Hungary because their parents, members of the Hungarian diaspora, decided years earlier to send them to Hungarian school. „We Hungarians are a global nation,” he added.
