A home alert programme for the elderly has saved more than 22,000 lives since its launch, Zsolt Nyitrai, an advisor to the prime minister, said on social media on Saturday.
Help has been sent to the homes of Hungarians with the wristband alert devices on 360,000 occasions Nyitrai said. The oldest user of the state-supported system is a 107-year-old woman, he added.
