The 14th Budapest Central European Fashion Week will be held between August 26 and September 1, and will focus on building bridges between the region’s countries and to open doors to international markets for designers, the organiser Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency (HFDA) said on Friday. The event will be held at the Millenáris Centre in Budapest, and will showcase works by nearly 100 designers. Over 30 young designers are participating, who will receive special focus. Sustainability will be another focus point of the event, and of the agency’s 2025 fall-winter season, HFDA said. The Millenáris Dance Theatre will host talks, panel discussions and workshops in the framework of the long-time popular fixture Fashion Hub. Events will also be held at other venues in Budapest and county seats, the statement said.
