Hungary’s government sector posted a 1,068 billion forint deficit in the first quarter, or 5.4 % of GDP, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday, presenting preliminary data. Government sector revenue increased by 10.5% to 7,952 billion forints, while expenditures grew by 1.7% to 9,020 billion.
