Peng Liyuan, the wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Anikó Lévai, the spouse of PM Viktor Orbán, on Thursday visited Budapest’s Hungarian-Chinese bilingual primary and secondary school, on the sidelines of the Chinese presidential couple’s official visit to Hungary. The guests were shown around the complex by headmistress Zsuzsa Erdélyi. They listened in to a Chinese language class and then a class of Chinese calligraphy and paper cutting, and were presented with a cultural programme in Hungarian and in Chinese. The Chinese First Lady presented books to the school and received a photo album in return. Earlier in the day Peng attended cultural programmes in the St Stephen Hall with First Lady Zsuzsanna Nagy.
