National minority voters can register to vote in the June 9 local elections by the May 31 deadline, the National Election Office (NVI) said. Hungary’s 13 registered national minorities will elect local, regional and national self-government councillors and mayors on the same day the country elects its municipal officials and its members of the next European Parliament, NVI said in a statement. The registration can be submitted online at www.valasztas.hu, in person, or in writing at local election offices.
