Two people were arrested in Hungary, suspected of defrauding the Hungarian state of 9.7 million euros, the European Union agency for criminal justice cooperation, Eurojust, said. The two led a criminal organisation which bought basic food products, mainly oil and sugar, in Croatia and sold it in Hungary without paying taxes, Eurojust said. The arrests were a result of a coordinated operation of Hungarian, Slovak, Austrian, Czech and Serbian authorities, which involved 110 police and 33 house searches, the body said.
