Hungary’s state-owned toll company NUSZ has signed an agreement with Ecuador’s transport minister to undertake a feasibility study and implement a pilot project on the rollout of an electronic toll system similar to the one in Hungary. The agreement was signed by Ecuador’s Minister of Transportation and Public Works Jose Gabriel Martinez Castro and NUSZ CEO Tamás Bartal in Quito, NUSZ said on its website. NUSZ is also in talks with officials in Colombia and Peru on switching over to electronic toll systems.
