Hungarian Interior Minister Sándor Pintér and his Austrian counterpart, Karl Nehammer, discussed on the phone measures taken to contain the spread of the new coronavirus, the interior ministry said. The ministers briefed each other on steps taken to screen those arriving from Italy, and agreed to show “mutual understanding and trust” regarding their countries’ steps against Covid-19. The ministers agreed to keep up a continuous exchange of information between Austria and Hungary, the statement said.
