Net asset value of Hungarian investment funds stood at 7,536 billion forints (EUR 22.3bn) at the end of last year, up 9% from the end of 2018, fresh data from the National Bank of Hungary (NBH) show. Real estate investment fund assets increased by 14% to 2,092 billion forints. Assets of absolute yield funds dropped by 6% to 961 billion forints, while assets of short-term bond funds jumped 77% to 945 billion forints. Assets of medium-risk mixed funds rose by 28% to 782 billion forints. Share fund assets climbed 23% to 556 billion forints.
Assets of mixed funds overweight in bonds increased by 25% to 479 billion forints.
