MINISTER: NEW SCHEME ALLOCATES HUF 11 BN FOR BUDAPEST HOSPITAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS

 

A new infrastructure development scheme dubbed For a Healthy Budapest has allocated 11 billion forints (EUR 33m) for the architectural and engineering plans to build and revamp hospital buildings, the human resources minister said. The planning contracts for buildings with a total floor space of 381,498 square metres were signed at the end of last year, Miklós Kásler told a press conference. The scheme involves 17 hospitals and medical centres in Budapest and Pest County, he said. Plans are set to be prepared for the construction and expansion of 30 buildings and the revamp of 48 buildings, he added.
