Hungary’s Innovation and Technology Minister László Palkovics discussed with Germany’s Transport and Digital Infrastructure Minister Andreas Scheuer cooperation in bilateral projects in Berlin.
Speaking to public media, Palkovics said they touched upon the spread of new propulsion technologies in vehicles used in public transport. Palkovics and Scheuer discussed a new project on drafting a map showing all charging stations for next-generation vehicles using new propulsion technologies in Germany, Austria and Hungary. The development of 5G networks was also discussed, Palkovics said, adding that Hungary will adopt several German solutions, including the system of no-charge campus licences for corporate users. Rail development issues including the electrification of the railway network were also discussed, the minister said.
