ORBÁN, BRENZOVICS DISCUSS UPCOMING UKRAINE ELECTIONS

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán discussed Ukraine’s upcoming general election with Transcarpathian Hungarian Cultural Association (KMKSZ) leader László Brenzovics in his office in Budapest, the PM’s press chief said. Orbán and Brenzovics agreed that it was important for the Transcarpathian Hungarian community to maintain a presence in the Ukrainian parliament, Bertalan Havasi said. They expressed hope that the Ukrainian authorities would be able to guarantee the fairness of the election. Orbán and Brenzovics urged Transcarpathian Hungarians working in Hungary to travel home and cast their votes on July 21.
