Economic research institute Kopint-Tárki projects Hungary’s economy will grow by 4.5% this year, a forecast released on Tuesday shows. The projection was raised from 4.0% in a forecast Kopint-Tárki published in March. Kopint-Tárki sees industrial output climbing 5.5% and investment growth reaching 12.5%. The GDP projection is over the government’s latest forecast for growth of 4.0%. In the first quarter, GDP growth climbed 5.3% year-on-year.
