HungaroControl and the trade union of air traffic controllers at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport reached an agreement on Wednesday and the union called off a strike announced to start on April 23, HungaroControl said in a statement.
The union staged a warning strike earlier on Wednesday, between 11 am and 1 pm. Liszt International operated at limited capacity during the strike.
Air traffic controllers demanded improvements in working conditions and their schedules, HungaroControl said.
