HUNGARY NOV TRADE SURPLUS REVISED DOWN TO EUR 478 M

 

Hungary’s trade surplus in November was revised downwards to 478 million euros in a second reading of data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH). In the first reading, published on Jan. 9, KSH had put the surplus at 496 million euros. Imports grew by an annual 7.3% in value to 8.996 billion euros, while exports increased by 4.5% to 9.474 billion. The trade surplus was down 204 million from the same month a year earlier.
