Hungary’s June trade surplus was revised downwards to 1.02 billion euros in a second reading of data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH). In the first reading, published on August 9, KSH had put the June surplus at 1.07 billion euros. Imports rose by 8% year- on-year to 8.543 billion euros. Exports were up 9.1% at 9.568 billion. The trade surplus was up by 165 million euros from the same month a year earlier.
