NGOs that support migration activity must file to pay a special 25% levy by Sept. 15, the head of tax authority NAV said in Tuesday’s issue of daily Magyar Idők. NGOs in the meantime must register with NAV before by Aug. 25, László Sors told the paper. Failure to comply will result in an audit on the organisations and possible fines, he added.
